I had been about 6 or 7 months pregnant with my second child initially when i first found out about a maternity belly band. A friend of mine at work was wearing one under her clothing and that i just happened to note it and felt compelled to ask about it. The thing about this friend was that they wasnt pregnant anymore. Shed given birth to her son about 10 months earlier. She was wearing this belly band to cover the left over baby belly that her loving son had graciously gifted to her. This thought caused me great anxiety.
So obviously, after conversing with her and learning all the benefits of these maternity belly bands, I sought out on a mission to discover the perfect belly band for me personally. I started my search at the local Target store where I did not find much that tickled my fancy. Much of what they offered was obviously a little too bland and uncomfortable personally. And so i took my do some searching online. I happened to discover a site that offered very stylish belly bands and they were also recommended for post pregnancy.
These were great, they are made from a cloth that feels good on my small skin and make wearing it all day long very easy. I had to utilize a sizing chart to help me select the right size, but once I came across the proper size it was an ideal fit.
Ok, so that all of this was more than a year ago and I desired to wait to publish this short article until I needed enough experience with the product to discuss factually. It has been an excellent product and I recommend it to anybody who wants a means to hide their baby belly.
My recommendation is that you go with a few sizes to help you get from the pregnancy and then to down size afterwards as well. Used to do retain just a little baby belly afterwards and it is great never to must keep hearing people ask when am I due. Which is so embarrassing for us both.
